In December 2014, Professor Oliver Harris delivered his fifth conference keynote of 2014 at the International Anthony Burgess Foundation in Manchester, following keynote lectures in Tangier, New York, London and Birmingham, Indiana--all in honour of the 100th anniversary of William Burroughs.  In spring 2014, his new "Restored" editions of Burroughs' famously challenging Cut-Up Triology (The Soft Macnine, Noa Express and The Ticket That Exploded) were published by Grove Press in the U.S. and as Penguin Modern Classics in the U.K.  For the Borroughs Centenary year, Oliver also made media appearances in The Huffington Post and The Guardian as well as for a Radio 4 Burroughs special introduced by Iggy Pop (whose famous "Lust for Life" took its lyrics from Burroughs' The Ticket That Exploded).
