Concepts of neurological rehabilitation
These sessions are aimed at Health Professionals who have an interest in the assessment and management of neurological patients. Potential applicants should have some experience working with this client group.
The module content is designed for Health Professionals who have an existing knowledge of the basic principles of managing patients with neurological conditions but who wish to advance their knowledge and update themselves with current research findings and with colleagues who appreciate how this can integrate into clinical practice. All tutors will provide current research based lectures.

1.30 - 5.00 Self-management and self-efficacy in neurological rehabilitation
Day 3
9.00 - 11.00 Spasticity - basic concepts
11.00 - 11.30 Break
11.30 - 1.00 Measurement of spasticity - principles and tools
1.00 - 1.45 Lunch break
1.45 - 3.15 Treatment of spasticity
3.15 - 3.30 Break
3.30 - 5.00 Therapeutic management of spasticity
