Biography

After qualifying from Glasgow Caledonian University, in 2000, Caroline completed her junior rotations at Stirling Royal Infirmary in Scotland. Three years later she completed her senior rotations, specializing in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. In 2005, Caroline travelled to Auckland, New Zealand, to work in Private Practice and Sports Physiotherapy. When she returned in 2008 she secured a job as an Advanced Physiotherapist at County Hospital working in MSK Outpatients.

It was at County Hospital, working with Keele University students, that Caroline discovered her passion for student development. She was a Keele Practice Educator for 11 years and formed close links with the Clinical Team in her liaison role.

Caroline joined the team at SAHP in November 2019 as a Practice Experience Support Tutor. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and is a registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
