Keele shortlisted for two Student Nursing Times Awards

Keele University has been shortlisted in two categories at the Student Nursing Times Awards 2025.
The University is in the running for Best Student Experience, which recognises universities and higher education providers that excel at giving students the best possible overall experience, and Nurse Education Provider of the Year (Pre-Registration), which acknowledges the high standards of academic and practical teaching provided to student nurses, midwives and nursing associates.
The awards are the UK's biggest student and nurse education awards and celebrate the best of the next generation of nurses and their educators, and the achievements and innovations of higher education institutions.
They also provide the opportunity to congratulate the lecturers, practice supervisors, universities, trusts and private organisations providing the best support for student nurses during their studies.
Marie Doherty, Head of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, said: “We're really proud to be shortlisted for two awards. They recognise the dedication and hard work of our colleagues, and their commitment to delivering the best possible programme for our students.
“Our School of Nursing and Midwifery is committed to delivering an outstanding student experience and creating an environment where students thrive. Our graduates are not only highly skilled but also resilient, compassionate, and prepared for the challenges of modern healthcare.”
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on Friday, May 2nd.
