Other things to see and do

Registration
The registration desk in the Comus Restaurant, Chancellor's Building, will be staffed from 10.00am - 3.30pm to answer general enquiries and to provide additional information.

Accommodation
Student accommodation will be open for viewing. If you have any questions about student accommodation and eating on campus, please go to the Accommodation stand.

Bursaries (Keele)
Information on the bursaries and scholarships available to applicants will be given during the day, and staff will be providing guidance on eligibility criteria.

Careers Service
A member of the Careers Service will be available to answer questions about the destinations of Keele graduates and to show material relating to the work of service.

Learning Support Centre and Disability Services
A member of staff from Disability Services will be available today. Visitors requiring further information can collect a Frequently Asked Questions leaflet. Prospective students and applicants are encouraged to contact Disability Services with their individual enquiries during office hours on 01782 734105 or email: dds@keele.ac.uk  We can provide support for a range of needs including dyslexia, vision and hearing impairment and mental health.

Information Services
The Library and IT Services building will be open to visitors.

Medicine
Students interested in Medicine should ensure they book to attend the subject talks. On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October 2012 there will only be one standard Open Day talk offered at 11.30am. In addition to this, there will be informal tours, and staff and students will be available to answer any queries.

Nursing and Midwifery
Advice and guidance will be available on a range of structures, qualifications, funding issues and application procedures.

Visitors are also invited to the Clinical Education Centre. Travel directions are available on request.

Student Finance
Staff from the University Student Finance Office will be available to talk to both parents and students about student finance, Keele bursaries, and the support provided through the Access to Learning Fund.

Student Ambassadors
Current students will be on hand to answer your questions about living and studying at Keele. Details of tours will be available on the day. Alternatively, collect one of our self-guided tour leaflets and look around the campus and facilities on offer at your leisure.

Students' Union
The hub of social life at Keele revolves around the Students' Union. Visitors are encouraged to come and view the place where they will spend much of their time outside of their studies. It is also helpful to get a feel for the support and representation the SU provides for students all year round.

Study Abroad
Information on Exchange opportunities at Keele will be available from staff of the Centre for International Exchange and Development.
