Visa Information for Study Abroad at Keele University

Please read all of this information very carefully. There are two types of student visas for the United Kingdom:

1. PBS Tier 4 Student Visa
2. Student Visitor Visa (or basic Entry Clearance given at Passport Control when entering the UK)

Single Semester Students:

If you are studying at Keele University for one semester, you will fall under the Student Visitor status. 

If you intend to work or volunteer during your semester, you will need to apply for the Tier 4 Student Visa. The fee for this visa is around US$477 as of July 2012. If you are planning to apply for this visa, please let us know!

Full Year Students:

If you are studying at Keele University for a full year, you will need to apply for the Tier 4 Student Visa. The fee for this visa is around US$477 as of as of July 2012.
