Mission Statement

The mission of Keele Study Abroad is to enhance the development of students’ multicultural and global competencies, with attention to their individual needs that will promote their empowerment, development, understanding and responsibility in an increasingly interconnected global community.

For incoming study abroad students this is accomplished by:

Assisting study abroad students in planning and arranging for their study abroad experience at Keele and helping them to maximize learning opportunities before they depart, while at Keele, and upon their return to their home institution

Providing study abroad students with a safe, affordable, academically rigorous, geographically diverse, culturally challenging and transforming programmes across a wide range of disciplines.

Seeking new ways to further the international education experience at Keele by collaboration between Keele Study Abroad and colleagues across the whole university, both academic and administrative, to ensure a high quality student experience.
