Launderette

The launderette is open 24 hours a day and has coin operated machines which take £1 and 20p coins

Wash – costs £2.50 and takes around 40 minutes

Tumble Dry cost £1 and takes around 30 minutes

Here are some Top Tips on using our lauderettes, including how to use the machines, washing/drying symbols and some FAQs.

The launderette is run by a private company and any problems should be reported directly to Circuit Launderette. The number is clearly displayed in the launderette. Refunds can be obtained from the Accommodation Service Manager if the machines break.

Lindsay Shop

Open during the semesters this shop is in the cafe bar. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. You’ll find a great range of snacks, confectionery, dairy products and sandwiches.

Bicycle storage

The lockable bicycle store at Lindsay is next to the Common Room - The Hexagon.  You can get a key from the Student Accommodation Office.  There is a £10 deposit (which is refundable when you hand your key back) and you will need to register your bicycle details.

Card and coin pay telephones

There are several pay telephones around your Hall.

Recycling Points

There are recycling points for bottles, paper and cans.

This gives you access to all the communal areas
