- Induction Hobs
Induction Hobs
Induction hobs work by creating an electro-magnetic field when a ferrous metallic pan is placed on the hob. This means that they are as fast to react as gas hobs and have a flat glass surface so are really easy to clean. Any pans used need to be magnetic. To test this you can use a fridge magnet (or normal magnet) and if it sticks to the bottom of your saucepans they are OK for induction hobs.
