Horwood Hall
Horwood Hall is on the east side of campus between woodland and Keele's many lakes making it a great place to relax. It provides rooms for approximately 750 students.
Horwood Hall has a variety of rooms:
Blocks A-N & P-S
Traditional University Accommodation Blocks with Washbasin (band A)
Blocks O & T-Z
Traditional University Accommodation Blocks Standard (band A)
Single Occupancy Flats
We have a selection of self-contained flats which are available for single occupancy. These may appeal to those who want to experience campus life, without communal living. They are also located within the halls of residence and are within walking distance of bars, launderettes and common rooms.
We have some specially adapted rooms in Horwood.
Comments from students about what it's like living at Horwood.....
This is my second year living in Horwood and I honestly love it. It has the best location on campus and all the blocks I've seen have been pretty good.
Horwood is one of the biggest housing accommodation on campus. There is a wide range of people that you get to know and socialise with. The common room space is usually used during the evenings and weekends to watch the TV or just hang out with friends. People generally like living in halls as it's less hassle and there are no extra bills to pay. It feels like a home away from home. The hall I live in is very friendly and you get to know everyone quickly.
