Bicycle Storage
There are secure bicycle stores in each of the halls of residence. These all have padlocks on the entrance doors.
If you would like to store your bicycle in one of the stores you will need to complete a Student Cycle Registration form (available from the Student Accommodation Office). In order to complete this form you will need information such as Make & Model, Frame Number, etc.
These details will be kept by the Head of Security. Any unregistered bicycles stored in the Hall of Residence Bike Stores' will be removed and disposed of.
Bicycles are not covered by the contents insurance provided by Keele University. Full details on the cover provided can be seen at www.keele.ac.uk/studyatkeele/accommodation/prospectivestudents/livingoncampus/contentsinsurance. Keele University can not accept any responsibility for any items left in the bicycle store.
Keys to the bicycle stores are available from the Student Accommodation Office on payment of a £10 refundable deposit. The Student Cycle Registration form should be completed before you pay for a key.
Please note that the bicycle stores are emptied over the summer months. If you wish to leave your bicycle in the store over the summer you should contact the Student Accommodation Office.
Why not join the Keele Bicycles Users Group - www.keele.ac.uk/kc for information and support. They also arrange for regular bike servicing and repairs on campus!
