Accommodation

Halls of Residence

The Halls of Residence are groups of accommodation blocks where students live. There are a variety of room types and occupancy periods available.

 

If you live in our Halls of Residence...

  • you are close to lectures
  • there are no travel costs or travelling time
  • you are close to the library
  • you are amongst lots of fellow students new to life at university
  • accommodation costs are set for the year
  • the cost of accommodation includes a furnished room, utility bills, basic level of insurance and internet access
  • family members who are not full time students cannot live with you
  • rooms are cleaned once a fortnight; kitchens and shared bathrooms cleaned weekly
  • the locks are secure and the campus has 24 hour security presence
  • you get support from our team of Residence Support Assistants
  • you are close to the Students Union and its events
  • you can use the restaurants and take aways on campus
  • you are close to the Sports Centre
