Allocation of campus accommodation
Bedrooms on campus will be allocated starting with category 1.
If room capacity is reached within the second or third categories, students in that category will be selected by a random ballot to decide if they will be allocated a room on campus. All ballots are overseen by a sabbatical officer from either Keele University Students’ Union or the Keele Postgraduate Association.
If room capacity is reached within the fourth category, as far as possible allocations will be made on a first come first served basis for that category.
In years of high demand, we may offer accommodation in a shared single room temporarily at the start of the academic year. Students who are asked to share will pay half rent until a permanent campus room is found for them.
