Visitor Accommodation
If your department has a short term visitor we can help with accommodation. We have a range of room options depending on the duration of their visit to the University (subject to availability).
All properties come with a welcome guide that includes information on the local area, map and contact details.

What is available?
1 night – 2 weeks
Keele Management Centre – bed and breakfast is available from £40 - £45 per night, depending on the room type and length of stay. Prices are reviewed on 1st August each year.
Off campus hotels – there is a variety of hotels in the local area to meet your budget. Prices vary from £30 - £95 depending on the quality of the accommodation and length of stay. The Student Accommodation Office can book external hotel accommodation on your behalf.
2 weeks – 6 months
University Campus Houses – there are 2 and 3 bedroom houses available with prices between £125 - £185 per week including utility bills but not Council Tax. Prices are reviewed on 1st August each year. The flats are self-catering and are fully furnished. Your visitor will be asked to sign a contract prior to moving into the property and they will need to make an advance payment of £150 deposit and 1 months’ rent.
6 months and longer
University Accommodation – please contact the Student Accommodation Office for further information.
Off campus properties – accommodation in the local area varies in price from £220 to £850 per calendar depending on the quality of the accommodation. Prices do not include utilities or Council Tax. We can provide information on the local area and assist with appointments to meet landlords.
Payment
Campus accommodation (including KMC) – we can arrange to charge the cost to your University department (this cost can be restricted to bed and breakfast only and can exclude extras such as newspapers, meals and drinks). Alternatively, we can charge the cost to your visitor.
Off campus accommodation – we can arrange to charge the cost to your University department (this cost can be restricted to bed and breakfast only and can exclude extras such as newspapers, meals and drinks). Alternatively, we can charge the cost to your visitor. We recommend that off campus properties are paid for direct by your visitor.
