Halls of Residence
Living in Halls is an important part of the student experience – you’ll have great fun and make lifelong friends. Everything you need is close by and there is no travel to pay for. There are five Halls of Residence at Keele each with its own character, providing over 3,000 bedrooms, ranging from single rooms sharing bathrooms and kitchens to rooms with en suite facilities.
Each Hall of Residence has its own community providing you with a ‘home from home’ on campus. All rooms are fully furnished and include a telephone and computer connection point.
The free bus service on campus means you're never far from your friends, the library, Students' Union, Sports Centre, cafes.....and lecture theatres.
What our students say about living on campus:
'...it is quicker and cheaper to get to uni and everything is so near to the campus you don't have to worry about getting home.'
'Campus accommodation is safer and more trustworthy than an independent landlord for students'
'I think students like living on campus because it's so convenient. The library is right here and you're only a few minutes walk from most places on campus. I know all my friends who are off campus are finding it a bit of a hassle travelling to Keele everyday, especially with all the road works.'
'I like the campus feel because you feel integral to the academic and social equilibrium, a part of the Keele family as opposed to a student who attends a uni with only external ties and no real sense of community.'
