Health
Health – In order to register with the National Health Service and receive treatment, you must be registered with a general medical practice near where you live. If you are not already registered with a local practice you should register with the general medical practice at the University Health Centre as soon as possible after you arrive at Keele. All new patients will have a short interview during registration. Registration is particularly important if you have a medical condition. If you are currently undergoing treatment, we advise you to ask your own doctor to write to the University’s Medical Officer, Dr Evan O’Byrne.
Details of how to register with the doctor on campus are available in your Welcome Guide. There is also a dental practice on campus. Both are located in the Health Centre in Horwood Hall.
