Payment of Accommodation Fees
Those of you living on campus will pay for your room or flat as 'Accommodation Fees'. Accommodation Fees are normally payable in three instalments by Direct Debit (details forwarded to you before your arrival). First semester students are charged just one payment to take into account the period Wednesday 19 September to the date of leaving in January. First Semester students, please do not book your return flight for a set date in January, as your moving out date will depend on your exam schedule, which will not be available until November. Second Semester students will also be charged just one payment from 18 January to 7 June. Payment must be made within 5 working days of the beginning of the first and second semester respectively. Your accommodation invoice will be emailed to you.
How do I pay?
You will be expected to pay an initial £450, this is £150 room deposit, for keys and to ensure there are no damage and you will get this back at the end of your stay. The £300 is an adanced payment for your room.

Living Costs
All International students are recommended to have available about £4900-7300 (excluding Tuition and Accommodation) per year to cover other costs - meals, books, laundry and other personal costs. This sum does not include travel between your own country and Keele and may also need to be increased if you intend to live at Keele all year round i.e. not returning home for vacations.
