Housing
Dorms (or “Halls” as they are called in the UK), are made up of single rooms with a shared kitchen, so there is no excuse for not cooking!. Halls are not simply a place to live, they privide a focus for social life. All Halls have a common room, as well as a student run council that organizes a range of events including parties, film or quiz nights, and sports. There are 33 resident tutors living on campus, who are on call nights and weekends. They are supported by a team of residential managers who are on call 24 hours a day- no problem to big or small! Kitchens and common areas are cleaned once a week by the cleaning staff, with student rooms cleaned every two weeks.
The great thing about living on campus is that there are no hidden extras, the rent includes utility bills, internet access and insurance and you are only a short walk to lectures.
