Welcome to Keele
Study England. Live England. Love England…at Keele University
Keele University, located in the heart of England, provides world-class teaching and research for over 9,000 students. Set in 630 acres of woods and parklands, Keele is one of the most beautiful campuses in the UK, offering a safe and friendly environment where over 3,200 students plus staff live on campus. We are located on the ancient grounds of the Sneyd family estate, founded in 1580, with Keele Hall as the centrepiece of the University. Keele was founded in 1949 by academics from the University of Oxford as a university that offered more range and breadth of subjects for its students.
Keele was recently listed as one of the top 100 young universities in the world! We are also ranked seventh in the UK for student satisfaction, and 85% of our academic research was cited as having National and International excellence. We have three faculties: Humanities and Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Health, which offer over 55 areas of study- something for everyone! Classes run on a semester system, with lots of student support to make sure you get the most out of your studies at Keele.
