Enrolment
On Arrival:
Enrolment Is held in the Walter Moberly Foyer 10-4pm
You need to show us your passport and visa (if relevant) which we will photocopy and keep for our records. We will then give you a pre-printed form for you to complete and sign; you give this to a member of staff who will check the form and then give you your Keele Card.
Please note: you will only have a Keele Card waiting for you if you have submitted a passport Photograph.
You will then be given your room key and taken to your accommodation. You can unpack and perhaps explore the campus (or go to sleep!).
During your first couple of days at Keele, you must log in to your Keele email account, using your user name and password, which you use to log in to eVision. Important messages from both academic schools and administrative departments will be sent using your Keele e-mail address throughout your time at Keele, so it is important that you check it daily. All students will be able to view their timetable on e-Vision by the start of the semester. You will also be given a hard copy of your timetable in your welcome packs.
Welcome Progamme - September Arrivals
September 2012
Welcome Week - 19 September - 29 September 2012
There are a number of introductory talks during the first week. Much of the information they provide is vital and so you should attend them. The sessions on Wednesday 19 to Monday 24 September are specifically designed for International Students. In the sessions from Sunday 23 September you will be joined by new UK students. Study the timetable to be sure which sessions are appropriate for you.
Please also read carefully the information on registration. This process begins with the enrolment form you will receive on arrival at Keele. Your Registration Packs will be available in the Chancellors' Building when you arrive there on Wednesday 19 September. The Registration Pack will either contain your Keele University registration card (Keele Card) or give details of where you can collect it. (NB: Unless we receive your photo before your arrival, your Keele card will not be ready). Please leave plenty of time to send them to us. Receipt of this card means you are officially registered as a student of the University. ERASMUS, Exchange and Study Abroad Students who have been unable to enrol on arrival must do so as soon as possible. Please go to the Help Desk on the Saturday and Sunday and to the Keele International office in the Walter Moberly Building on Monday if you have any problems.
Monday 24th September 2012
From Monday 24 September you can book an appointment for police registration - only if it says you must on your visa -
at the Centre for Learning and Student Support (Walter Moberley Building), also coach trip tickets go on sale.
All Erasmus, Exchange and Study Abroad students will meet with their Institutional Coordinator this morning.
