Following the huge success of previous Study China Programmes since summer 2007, the government sponsors are continuing to fund over 200 places per year for full time undergraduates and HND students to go to China.

Successful candidates will be learning Chinese language, attending lectures on Chinese culture, society, history and economy and visiting local businesses. We work with host universities in Beijing and Shanghai.  Programmes run on the following dates, and students are able to choose their destination:

East China Normal University:

Arriving Saturday 10th August 2013 and depart Friday 30th August 2013.

Zhejiang University:

Arriving Saturday 10th August 2013 and depart Friday 30th August 2013.

There are a number of bursaries available to contribute towards Student costs including; airfare and spending money. All other costs are funded by the UK government.

Funded places on the Study China Programme are Open to full-time undergraduate/HND/Foundation Degree/Nursing Diploma in universities or colleges of further education.

The Study China Programme is a 20 day course.  It is aimed at all undergraduate students, regardless of what subject they are studying.  Full-time students at HND and Bachelors’ level are eligible to apply for the programme.

Applications are being accepted from the 28th March 2013 and it is expected that places will fill by June 2013.

You will be required to obtain an online confirmation of registration from your Keele personal tutor. They will then need to submit this online before the deadline. Please note that any late confirmations will not be accepted. If you do not want to miss this unique opportunity, take action quickly!

It is anticipated that all places will be filled by the end of October.
