Advancing Health and Society

Advancing Health and Society (15 credits)

The Advancing Health and Society module has been designed to enhance your knowledge of societal needs and individual differences in the provision of health and social care in the UK. It also provides a continuation of the psychological and sociological approaches needed to promote the changes required to support a ‘healthy’ population. In this module, you will work in groups to research health inequalities within the UK, explore the difference between mental well-being and mental ill health and create digital resources to be used by a diverse population on a given health-related topic.
