How to register for modules

Continuing students

Module Registration is now Open

You will get your results for the current academic year in June and may successfully progress or be allowed to proceed into your next level of study, but to be fair to everyone, you will be able to select modules for your next level of study even if you have re-assessments to take during the summer - we'll assume that you will successfully pass your summer re-assessments.

If things don't work out that way we'll remove you from the modules you choose and in early September, your final progression outcome email will explain the options that are available to you.

Module Registration is now open.

Once you have researched your choices and made a list of what you would like to take you will need to log into eVision to register your choices. You access eVision through the student portal (also known as Blackboard, or the KLE). Once you have logged in, click 'The Office' tab which will take you to eVision. Remember, you can use eVision at any-time to see details of your current modules, timetable, credit summary and results.

You might also find it useful to download our 'How to Guide - Continuing Students which will give you a preview of the selection pages and further guidance about how to use eVision to choose your modules.

International students

If you are an international student and not a native speaker of English or have received your education in a language other than English, you may be pre-allocated an English language module (ENL-) as one of your elective choices, to help build the academic English skills that you will depend on for success with your degree studies.

Finding out about the modules allocated to you

You will receive a final confirmation of your allocated modules for the academic year 2024/25 by email to your Keele email address no later than Sunday 22 September 2024.

For returning students, your provisional online timetable for your lectures will also be made available to you in eVision from mid/late August (for Semester One modules) and you will also be able to see which modules you have been allocated from this.

For new entrants timetables will be available from 16 September (Semester One modules)

If there is a problem with the number of modules you have been allocated to or which modules you have been allocated you should visit the changing modules section of this site where you can complete a form or email the team to make the changes you need.

Once you have been allocated to the correct number and type of modules, we strongly encourage you to stick with your choices.  However, we appreciate that sometimes a module you have chosen is not as you expected or you may find you have a timetable clash so depending the teaching week you may be allowed to change.

You MUST register for ALL of your modules by NO LATER THAN FRIDAY 18 OCTOBER 2024 which is the end of the third week of teaching in semester 1.
