Bursary available for international students

 Guaranteed GBP 1,000 Bursary For International Students Taking Science At Keele

A guaranteed bursary of 1,000 GBP is on offer to international students, starting a science course at undergraduate or postgraduate level in 2013/14:

This is a one-off reduction in tuition fees for the first year of study only.  It is guaranteed and will be deducted from your tuition fees.

The Natural Sciences Faculty awarding these scholarships covers undergraduate and postgraduate study in the following discipline areas:

  • Astrophysics
  • Biochemistry
  • Biology
  • Biomedical Sciences
  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science
  • Environmental Science
  • Forensic Science
  • Geography
  • Geology
  • Information Systems
  • Mathematics
  • Medicinal Chemistry
  • Neuroscience
  • Physics
  • Psychology

The FNS Scholarship is not available to overseas students studying the Foundation Year for 2013 entry, as Foundation Year programmes have specific fees packages associated with them.

Students are also eligible to apply for Keele International Student Scholarships (KIS Scholarship - worth GBP2000 for undergraduate students per annum and GBP3000 for postgraduate students).  These are awarded according to certain criteria: please see the Keele website.  If a student awarded a Faculty of Natural Sciences scholarship is also awarded a KIS scholarship then the Faculty of Natural Sciences Scholarship is counted as part of the KIS scholarship in the first year of study.  The Faculty of Natural Sciences Scholarship is not available to students already studying at Keele (and those in receipt of the Keele Graduate Bursary).
