keele-562_22 Peer Mentoring at Keele

At Keele, we operate Keele Mentors, a Peer Mentoring scheme that aims to welcome and settle new students to the University.

The following Schools are currently participating in the Keele Mentors scheme:

  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science and Mathematics
  • Criminology and Sociology
  • Educational Studies
  • Life Sciences
  • Management
  • Medicine
  • Nursing and Midwifery

All new undergraduate students studying in these schools can be matched to a mentor. The mentoring scheme is also open to all new international students, all students who are care leavers, all mature students and to those students who have already had e mentors through the Keele Desire E Mentoring Programme.

Our Keele Mentors scheme begins with email contact prior to arrival at Keele, and continues during the first few weeks and months after arrival and in some cases, beyond this.  We aim to ease the transition for new students starting with us, and provide a welcoming start to their time at Keele.
