Ultimate Frisbee

Welcome to Keele Ultimate Frisbee! For those who have never played, Ultimate Frisbee an upcoming sport amongst universities and with teams competing nationally and internationally! It is a mix between American football and netball, non contact, no referee and can be played indoor and outdoor.

Possibly the most social sport around, Ultimate offers more than throwing a frisbee in the park. The pitch is approximately 3/4 of a football pitch with 2 end zones. To score, catch the disc in the end zone whilst outsmarting and beating your opposition to the line. You cannot move with the disc and have 8 seconds indoors or 10 seconds outdoors to release the disc to a fellow team member.

Sound easy? Think again.

Whether you can throw a disc or not, play ultimate competitively or play ultimate casually, either way it will open up a whole new sporting world for you to take part in!
