Women's Rugby

Womens rugby is a real up and coming team to watch out for in 2012/2013. With the AU nominated Fresher of the year, Millie Moore captaining our team this year we are ready for action and want you to join us!

As a group of dedicated girls we meet twice weekly to train and also partake in the tradition of sports night socials every Wednesday. A recognised club for holding some unforgettable socials we have had everything from the charm of the oriental, to the biblical Noah’s ark themes. All providing endless laughs and the utterly bizzare!

Apart from the social side womens rugby are also all about building good skills within the sport, teamwork, friendship, and is ubelieveable fitness ladies. Most importantly we welcome anyone along, whether you have played for years, nationally or local teams, or even if you have never picked up a rugby ball in your life! Our team of present is made up from absolute beginners who have now landed positions not only starting in every game but have also made it into prestigous places within the committe, to experienced players who are here to get competative and further our teams success.
