Korfball
Come and join one of the most exciting clubs on campus to take part in this the best kept secret world sport. It’s a basket sport involving using team tactics, and allows everyone to play in turn, in defence and attack. This is a perfect sport for anyone who wants to try something new as it is a mixed sport played by two teams of 8 (4 men, 4 women). Korfball has spread to universities across England and all over the world, it’s played in 57 countries.
Keele’s Korfball club is part of the local league involving teams such as Crewe’s and Newcastle-under-Lyme’s and last year played in the National University League Tournament as well as hosting our own Keele tournament. Everyone is welcome so come along and try the sport that’s quickly become a university favourite across the UK! Come and sign up at AU sports fair or join our group Keele University Korfball Club on Facebook!
