Netball
Netball is currently the largest female club in the athletic
union with over 50 friendly and enthusiastic members,
making it a great club to join if you want to socialize whilst
getting fit. The club has three highly successful teams
entered into the Wednesday BUCS leagues, and two teams
entered into a Northern Saturday league. We also have a
variety of members who play netball at various levels, so
everyone, from beginners to past county players, to players
who simply want to improve their fitness are welcome to
come along and take part. In addition to all this, the club
organises numerous charity events, and participates in
several other fundraising activities throughout the season.
We also take a trip abroad for our tour towards the end of
the year, which promises to be highly entertaining and
enjoyable. Overall, by joining netball you are guaranteed to
meet new people, have fun, get fit and therefore, enhance
and enrich your university experience.
