Fencing

This year fencing at Keele is going to be bigger and better

than ever. We employ a highly qualified coach who is skilled

at teaching fencers of all levels so if you have never fenced

before then don’t let this put you off coming along and giving

it a go! We are mainly a novice’s club and most of our

members only picked up the sport here at Keele. We can

also provide all the equipment you need from safety clothing

to swords.

If you enjoy fencing you may also be asked to join one of

our teams which compete most Wednesday afternoons

against other universities within BUCS. If however you just

want to come along, we also have in house competition

nights every few weeks or you can just fence for the fun of it.

After all, there’s nothing more enjoyable than hitting each

other with swords!
