Robert Ladrech took his M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of California at Santa Barbara and taught in the U.S. before coming to Keele. His research focuses on the relationship between party politics and European integration. He recently completed a ESRC-funded collaborative research project on the Europeanization of National Political Parties and is currently involved with the British Academy-funded workgroup on 'Emerging Party Systems and the European Context'. Dr Ladrech is also a Visiting professor at the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium, where he supervises MA theses in the area of Europeanization studies.
