Philosophy isn't just interesting to study, it's addictive. You can't help wanting to know more, even after your degree is over. Challenging, intriguing, often intense and never dull: this is Philosophy at Keele.

I was fortunate enough to have spent many hours amongst the greenery outside my halls of residence, pondering over the works of many of the greatest thinkers known to mankind. Keele provided me with the direction to look at the right works; my tutors provided the encouragement and infected me with the enthusiasm needed to actually understand those works.

Was it sometimes stressful? Yes. Were there times I thought I'd never understand? Yes. Would I change anything about the course? No. In fact, if there was one thing I would change it would be to lengthen the time spent at Keele studying Philosophy: 3 years just is not enough!!
