flags I graduated from Keele in International Relations in 2010 and since then have gone on to do a LLM in International Law at Edinburgh University. SPIRE’s inter-disciplinary approach to International Relations left me in a very strong position to transfer into the study of law.

The strong basis it gave me in Politics and Philosophy meant the transition was incredibly smooth. Furthermore, the variation in forms of assessment that were on offer in SPIRE ensured that I became proficient in not only essay writing and examination preparation but also individual research and web design.

The small class sizes at Keele were extremely beneficial and allowed for high levels of interaction and some very informative debates. In short SPIRE provided me with an excellent platform upon which to further my academic career.  Not to mention it was great fun to study there.
