Welcome to new students
We are very much looking forward to you joining our School. To help you to settle in and begin to prepare for your studies, Keele has developed a Welcome Web, which we hope will answer any questions or concerns you may have.
You should also have received documentation from us and a reminder SPIRE welcome postcard of events for you to attend, plus a suggested SPIRE Pre Reading List.
Your first week at SPIRE is the induction week and will include introductory talks about your chosen programme of study. During this week we will confirm your module choices and provide you with your lecture and tutorial times; once you’ve made all your choices you’ll be able to view your individual timetable electronically on e-Vision. You'll be given all the relevant documentation when you register with our school on Monday 24th September 2012, between 10am and 1pm.
SPIRE Student Reps will be around all week to answer any queries and the SPIRE Fresher's Party is planned for Monday 24th September 2012, 5pm to 7pm. At this party you can get together with your fellow freshers, more established SPIRE students, some of your lecturers and tutors, and also representatives from the student-led Keele Model United Nations Committee, as well as from the Politics and Philosophy Societies.
If you (or your parents or guardians) have any other questions then please do not hesitate to contact our Senior School Manager Caroline Merritt at email: c.merritt@keele.ac.uk or Telephone 01782 73 3452.
I look forward to meeting you.
