Visit to Istanbul Sehir

Kyril Drezov recently completed the third visit to Istanbul Sehir University in Turkey by a member of staff from SPIRE, thereby further cementing an already strong partnership.

Istanbul Sehir is a new university (established in 2008), which is already a leading player among Turkey’s English language universities. Their Department of Political Science and International Relations has excellent researchers on the politics and international relations of the former Soviet bloc, an area in which Mr Drezov is a leading authority.

While at the Istanbul Sehir, Mr Drezov gave a number of lectures and seminars, including a public lecture which was part of the university's prestigious 'Debating the Global' Lecture Series.
