NBPA award for SPIRE student

Black Police Association award Krishna Sukumaran, a current SPIRE MA student in Environmental Politics, has received an award for 'Outstanding Dedication in Community Engagement' by the National Black Police Association for his community engagement with issues of diversity, exclusion and integration. 

Krishna works in the Staffordshire community with marginalised people through positive action addressing issues such as racism and fundamentalism, and the award recognises almost a decade of untiring work to promote community cohesion, multiculturalism and inter-faith dialogue.
