Special congratulations to SPIRE students, listed below, who were winners at the first KUSU Award Ceremony held on 12th May 2011.

Society Member of the Year - Andy Irwin (English/Politics) for Concourse.

Society Lifetime Contributions – for KUBE Radio, for Paul Mitchell (IR/Politics) together with fellow student, Holly Beaumont-Wilkes.

Adam Kimberley (Philosophy and Educational Studies) and Aaron Webster  (IR/History) each received an outstanding contribution award.

Laurence Mallows (IR/Politics) , Brendan Rodgers (Philosophy/MCC) and Vinesh Patel (Philosophy/Law) all received the Lifetime Contribution Awards (KUSU Honorary Lifetime Membership).
