Eco Urban Workshop

Dr Stephen Quilley and Dr Philip Catney from SPIRE organised a workshop at Keele University to explore strategies aimed at urban regeneration through ecological modernisation and re-localisation. A further event will be held in July, aimed at presenting proposals for eco-experimentation to policy-makers and the business sector.  The event was attended by delegates from a number of UK universities and the event was opened by Professor David Shepherd, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Pro-Vice Chancellor at Keele University.

The event was financially supported by the HEFCE Seachange programme, which aims to help universities develop their capacity for policy impact.
