High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives in the United Kingdom visits Keele University

Posted on 24 March 2010 VIP Visit High Commissioner Dr. Faizal visited Keele University to meet with Mr. Rama Thirunamachandran, Deputy Vice-Chancellor. 

The High Commissioner was welcomed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University, Rama Thirunamachandran and introduced to Professors Pat Bailey, Andy Dobson and Graham Williams who presented Dr. Faizal with their work on Environment and Sustainability.  

Talks were held on the possibility to enrol Maldivian students in science and environment undergraduate or postgraduate courses. Maldivian Students have been added to the Keele University bursaries programme.
