Wind Turbines BSc Applied Environmental Science

The Applied Environmental Science degree programme is an interdisciplinary course that emphasises the role of basic scientific understanding and practical skills in the laboratory and field for the analysis and management of environmental problems. This course is therefore firmly anchored in the sciences and in addition includes options from the social sciences and the humanities.

The Environment and Sustainability degree at Keele University aims to produce graduates who are able to cross the traditional science-social science divide and who are prepared to work in a range of sectors.  Graduates will have a broad and deep understanding of environmental problems and be conversant with strategies for moving towards sustainability in many different contexts.

MSc Environmental Sustainability and Green Technology

This is a cutting edge course designed to equip graduates with multi-disciplinary skills and knowledge in the area of environmental sustainability and green technology.  The course is taught by a team of environmental specialists working in the fields of green technology, biological science, chemical science, green IT, project management, and environmental policy and politics.  In designing the course we have drawn upon Keele’s internationally recognised expertise in research on environmental issues.
