I graduated from the University of Southampton in Mathematics with Chemistry far too long ago. After completing a PGCE at the University of Leeds, teaching for 3 years in Tanzania (with VSO), I completed a Masters of Education, again at Leeds. Since then I have taught A-level Maths in schools, FE colleges and also Stoke Sixth Form College.
My teaching focuses on First Year Courses, especially the Mathematical Methods elective course, but also Calculus I and II. I am also part of the First Year Tutor Team. In addition to this I am an Area Coordinator for the Further Maths Support Programme, helping to promote and develop the teaching of Further Maths in local schools and colleges.
I enjoy most sport (sadly its mostly watching now), but my lifelong love (for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer) has always been the Bradford Bulls Rugby League team.
