Before coming to Keele I worked for many years in IT for local government and have also been a painter & decorator and run a village post office. I came to Keele in 1999 to study Mathematics. I graduated in 2002 with a first-class honours degree and completed my MPhil in medical statistics in 2005.

I have been a Teaching Fellow at Keele since 2006. Prior to that, I taught on various probability and statistics modules as a graduate teaching assistant and session teacher. I am also involved with the Keele and Potteries Further Maths Centre, where I teach A-level Further Maths and Statistics to students from local schools and colleges.
