Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship 2012 competition

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Keele University has committed resources to support two applications to the 2012 Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship competition. We invite expressions of interest from eligible candidates in any of our research strengths:

Early Career Fellowships aim to provide career development opportunities within the United Kingdom for those who are at a relatively early stage of their academic careers but with a proven record of research.

Decisions about which applications will be supported in the 2012 round will be made by an academic panel comprising the Dean of the Faculty, Research Institute Director and Heads of Research Centres.

The deadline for submission is 12pm on Monday 13th February 2012

Applications must include:

1. Eligibility Confirmation:

  • Date of doctoral viva or anticipated date
  • Current employment details and career history

 2. CV - 2 pages maximum to include publications

 3. Research track record and plans, to include:

  • Title
  • Abstract written in non-specialist language (250 words)
  • Details of current and past research (250 words)
  • Proposed research project (1500 words)
