I graduated with an LLB from the ILS Law College, University of Pune, India in 2005 and subsequently obtained an LLM in Legal Aspects of Medical Practice from Cardiff University in 2006. My dissertation examined the regulation of medical research.
After my LLM I worked from May 2007 until August 2012 at the Bangalore, India offices of Kochhar & Co., one of India’s leading law firms, where I advised clients on company law and technology law among other areas.
My research primarily examines the law of property and ownership in relation to the human body and separated body parts. My supervisors are Dr. Ruth Fletcher and Professor Michael Thomson.
