Berryhill Retirement Village- A follow up study; To explore the ways in which this retirement community has evolved and responded to residents changing needs over time.
In 2000, a three year Lottery funded longitudinal research project began at Extra Care Charitable Trust, led by Keele University. The study examined health, identity and well-being amongst residents in the then newly built Berryhill Retirement Village. 12+ years on this unique follow-up study aims to explore the ways in which this retirement community has evolved over the years and how it has responded to the residents changing needs over time.
