Having completed both a BA (2007) and MRes (2008) at Keele University, Andy Hodder is currently completing a PhD, looking at the method of trade union organising within the Public and Commercial Services union (PCS). The research aims to determine the extent to which the PCS has adopted the organising agenda and evaluate its impact on membership and levels of activism, during a period of Civil Service modernization. The research is jointly funded by Keele University and the PCS.


Andy is also a member of the British Universities Industrial Relations Association.
