Dr Shain gives a keynote address
Dr. Farzana Shain recently gave the keynote address at a one-day conference on Modern Girlhoods. The event was sponsored by the Gender & Education
Association with Brunel University and the British Sociological Association's
Youth Study Group and brought together researchers and practitioners working across the fields of youth studies, social policy, sociology and education to debate and discuss key issues and challenges impacting on the social and cultural lives of girls.
