Our research aims to contribute towards preventing musculoskeletal conditions from starting, getting worse or causing long-term disability in later life. These conditions are researched using a range of traditional and innovative approaches and methods.

Within applied biostatistics these approaches include longitudinal analysis, statistical modelling and use of routine health care data.  Students work as part of active research teams to fulfil the data collection and data management requirements of their research project.
