Dr Elizabeth Poole (Media, Communications and Culture) presented a paper at the annual conference for the Media and Religion Network (CRESC, Open University).

The paper 'Does Minority/Diasporic Media Matter?  Everyday Media Use amongst British Muslims', was based on research into the production and consumption of diversity issues, carried out with colleague Dr Siobhan Holohan in Sociology at Keele.

The conference,  'Religion and the Digital Age: Media Performance and Spectacular Activism', was held at the Center for Religion and Media at New York University and co-hosted by the International Mediating Religion Network.
