"The Patient with Arthritis" - Inaugural Lecture
Professor Andy Hassell, Medicine, delivered the last lecture in the University's series of professorial Inaugural Lectures for 2011 – 2012, on Monday. His lecture was titled. "The patient with arthritis, the medical student and the rheumatologist: influencing tomorrow's doctors".
In his talk, Andrew explored some current concepts of medical education, both undergraduate and postgraduate, against a background of his experience as a clinician and researcher involved in the care of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
